My name is Teddy Wong, the co-founder of fctrycrew.com. I founded FCTRYCREW in 2016 by gathering a crew of enthusiasts aiming to make sneakers more accessible to worldwide consumers. FCTRYCREW is a reminder that there's always a reasonable and high quality pair for everyone, regardless of brand, price, style, size, and function!

Just as you see at FCTRYCREW, we provide worldwide customers with the widest selections of sexy pieces at such an affordable price!

How can we make this happen?

The story started from the summer of 2014, when I had the privilege to intern at one of the Nike manufacturers in China. And OH BOY you can’t imagine how much I learned about the industry! At the factory I saw millions of exclusive sneakers like Yeezy manufacturing, packing and stocking in the warehouse! I was so confused: shouldn’t these sexy pieces be limited?

SHOCKING TRUTH: 'LIMITED COLLECTIONS' AREN'T THAT LIMITED AT ALL!

Through my deep research and wide interviews in the industry, I found out that these factories (authorized by “mega brands”) produced 2-5 times the amount of shoes they had been authorized for in the first place.

The reason behind is that they need these extra pairs 'just in case' – to replace the rejected pairs that fail to pass mega brand’s quality inspection.

Well, guess what happens once enough pairs pass the control and the company reaches its quota?

THEY GET DESTROYED!

Can you believe that?

As crazy as it might sound, big brands release very limited stocks into the market to create scarcity and hype up prices, and order the rest to be thrown away.

FACTORIES DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH ALL THESE EXTRA SNEAKERS. DO YOU?

As a sneaker lover, I couldn't watch all those amazing kicks get left in the dust.

So I went straight to these manufacturers and asked them to sell me these leftovers... And they accepted.

(What would they do with them anyway?)

That's how this website was born.

Fast forward today, we have collaborated with the manufacturers that produce sneakers for all mega brands, such as Adidas, Nike, ..., and even Dior. and sell exclusive models like Yeezy Boost Collection, Jordans, Off-Whites, Human Races etc. at more than reasonable prices.

QUALITY CONTROL

After the shoes leave the manufacturer, FCTRYCREW goes through an additional quality assurance check to make sure no details are missed. We tag each pair of sneakers with our signature label using RFID technology in order to trace every pair to the manufacturer they came from.
